Presentation descriptions:
Who are we, what do we do, and how do we work with documentation?
Siemens Gamesa is a global leading provider of wind power products and service solutions. We are a team of 26,000 individuals from over 100 nationalities, all motivated to tackle the greatest challenge of our generation – the climate crisis.
Speaker: Esben Keller
Esben Keller from the Documentation Governance Offshore team will talk about how the team works with improving documentation processes in the organization. The team’s main task is to drive the documentation area in a visionary direction, where quality is high and lives up to customer and legal requirements, processes are optimized and automated, and tools and systems support all of that.
The new machinery regulation, consequenses for documentation professionals
- Instructions content
- Possibilities for electronic documentation
- The hand over – legal aspects
- Other changes – relevant for documentation professionals
Speaker: Thomas Thilleman Petersen
Thomas is head of projects and sales in the largest Danish CE marking consultatcy Maskinsikkerhed Aps.
With more than 20 years of experience in the CE marking business, Thomas represents top knowledge in CE related questions. Thomas has extensive experience both in practical CE marking – risk assessment – documentation, and in the legal aspects in writing several standards.
Appreciation: Do it yourself!
We need recognition to be productive and creative, to remain loyal to our coworkers, customers and stakeholders, and to feel secure – as freelancers, employees and managers.
But what happens when appreciation is rarely given – or not at all –, or when you find it difficult to express or accept appreciation? Or if a company’s recognition culture is limited to one of those dystopian tools that automatically dole out thumbs up messages?
In this workshop, I touch on such tricky topics as pride, trust and the recently re-surfaces (but age-old) “impostor syndrome.” And I’ll explain and demonstrate how we can put into practice what we already know deep inside: That in the end only we ourselves can pat ourselves on the back.
Speaker: Mathias Maul
Mathias Maul is half linguist, half computer scientist and half brain debugger. After spending many years as software engineer, marketer and psychotherapist, he specialises in strategy consulting and communication coaching for technical teams. He teaches coaching and marketing at universities in Hamburg and Düsseldorf. Since 2017, he speaks at tekom/tcworld events and was published in technische kommunikation and the tcworld magazine.
