About us

tekom Magyarország is one of the country organizations within tekom Europe, the largest professional association for technical communication worldwide. 

tekom Magyarország, founded in March 2016, is addressed to all persons active in the field of technical communication or in other areas of information development and information management inHungary. These include, for instance, technical writers, technical illustrators or technical translators, product or marketing managers.

What do we offer?

We offer a platform for professional networking and exchanging information and experience to expand the local technical communication community and bring together technical communication professionals.

Our goals

  • Organize local workshops and roundtable discussions around topics of common interest
  • Share experience and learn from each other via providing networking opportunities
  • Start building a professional community of technical communicators in Hungary
  • Promote tekom Magyarország, bring in further members
  • Cooperate with universities with the ultimate goal of providing academic background for technical communication in Hungary
  • Build international connections with fellow country organizations and organize international events
