Join us for an afternoon where we in collaboration with Aarhus Univerity will shed some light on technical communication as profession. We'll have a special focus on work practices and how you can use your language and communication degree to kick-start a career within technical communication and see that there are other opportunities than landing jobs within marketing.

My career path, documentation in a global setup at BAADER, machinery safety and how it relates to documentation, and leadership of documentation staff in a global perspective.

Intro to the importance of effective communication in today's technology-driven world, including technical communication and its related fields. In addition, I will touch on the following topics: What skills are required to work in technical communication, how to start a career in this field, and how to develop my career as technical communicator. In the presentation there will be examples from the real world.
