Call for Candidate – Delegate Elections in November 2025
Passionate about technical communication and want to help shape the future of our profession? Enjoy working on an international team?
We are looking for motivated members who are willing to take an active role as delegate or deputy delegate in tekom Europe – the largest professional association for technical communication in Europe.
If that’s not the right fit for you, no problem! We also need your energy and expertise to support country organization boards and initiative committees in other roles such as secretary, treasurer, marketing, and more. Every helping hand counts!
Why Become a Delegate?
- Represent your country in the assembly of delegates, the highest decision-making body of tekom Europe.
- Be the first point of contact for tekom members in your country, as part of the initiative committee or board.
- Shape the agenda and push for the issues that you find important for the development of the profession.
- Collaborate internationally and exchange best practices and insights with delegates from across Europe.

What are the prerequisites for candidacy?
- You are a registered member of tekom Europe or are in the process of becoming one.
- You are willing to commit to the full 3-year term of office (January 2026 – December 2028).
How to Apply
Ready to step up and make a difference? Here’s how you can apply:
- Austria, Denmark, or Sweden: Apply for president, vice president, secretary, or treasurer at Application Form
- Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Netherlands, Romania, Türkiye, or members without a country organization: Apply for delegate or substitute delegate at Application Form
Fill out the application form and submit it by September 21, 2025 at the latest.
Even if you don’t run for delegate, we encourage you to get involved. Support your country organization, join the initiative committee, and help shape the future of technical communication together!
