We are happy to invite you to upcoming mini-conference about the various tools we use during the content creation and translation process. We will have presentations by 3 speakers, followed by a coffee break and Q&A:
Three products, one Help center: Learn content management at Prezi - Ágnes Csóka (Prezi)
With our product suite expanding in the past couple years, the main challenge of content management at Prezi is to keep everything structured and clear, both for ourselves and the user. Both the Customer Support and the Content teams use Zendesk as a main working platform. We host, create and edit tutorial articles here but we also have learn pages available from the Prezi website, a blog, social media content and handout documents for Prezi teams to organize and maintain. We recently moved away from Transifex and started using Localise for content localisation and would also like to further explore ways to go beyond the limitations of Zendesk when it comes to visual content and move towards implementing learn content within our products to make it as user-friendly as possible.

What is a CAT tool? How do we use it in the translation workflow? I would like to give a brief introduction to the key concepts of Computer Aided Translation: unified editing environment, supported filetypes, XLIFF, translation memory vs. machine translation, post-editing, fuzzy match, context match, CAT discount, QA, terminology.
Professional documentation on a Wiki platform? - A winding journey to collaboration - András Juhász & Zsolt Ambrus (aiMotive)
A growing startup faces the challenges of increasing demand for product documentation and flexible online deliveries. A previous system of providing single PDFs through SharePoint is becoming unscalable. However, the team and the volume are still small enough to justify expenditure for a separate content management system. In the while, the R&D teams are suffering from lack or inaccessibility of valuable internal information, calling for an intuitive and searchable knowledge base system.
