Annual Book Series

In 1999, the tekom board decided to launch two publications series – the Anthology on Technical Communication (Opens internal link in current window"Schriften zur Technischen Kommunikation") and the tekom Academic Series (Opens internal link in current window"Hochschulschriften"). The board appointed Prof. Dr. Jörg Hennig and Prof. Dr. Marita Tjarks-Sobhani, who published the "Dictionary on technical communication and documentation" in 1998. tekom members are given the volume "Schriften zur Technischen Kommunikation" free of charge as an annual gift.

The publishers

In the tekom Academic Series, works from universities on the topic of technical communication are published. The publication is up-to-date, i.e. the work is published as far as possible immediately after it is completed. It includes both graduate theses as well as more extensive final year degree theses.

Concept and publication frequency

In addition, volumes of this series are designed and published by college teachers from their respective research areas. Approximately one volume is published per year.
