STE meets tea

We recently hosted our first event of the year: STE meets tea!

This event brought together a selected group of technical writers for a dynamic workshop and networking event. The intimate setting allowed for a very interactive experience, and we received great feedback from attendees about the welcoming atmosphere of the event and about how much they learned from the presenter, Shumin Chen about STE and of course tea.

The evening started with pizza and the first cup of tea, which set the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. After Shumin’s presentation of Simplified Technical English, the attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and network while sampling more exquisite tea. There were some good talks and discussions, e.g. about the diversity of technical writing, ideas for upcoming events, and job opportunities.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to have hosted such a successful event and would like to thank Shumin Chen for sharing her expertise with us. We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to Foxiz for their cooperation and for providing the accommodations.
