Abstract

The talk presents the most important changes in the upcoming edition 2 of EN 82079-1 and their impact on tech writing. Matthias will also introduce the new standard on operating manuals for machinery: EN ISO 20607.

Bio

Matthias Schulz, born 1962, working as tech writer since 1985, long-time member of tekom standard’s board in Germany, specializing in the legal requirements for technical documentation (product liability, European law and CE marking). Matthias is co-author of several tekom publications on safety notes and warnings, EN 82079-1 and operating instructions.
