21st century information: Ethical challenges

Ray Gallon

Abstract

When machines make decisions for us, what is our responsibility? Indeed, what is responsibility at all? Who - or what - is accountable when something untoward happens, and how do we document, trace, and archive it? This webinar looks at how Information in the era of artificial intelligence intersects with ethical issues, and how we, as information specialists, need to deal with them. And of course, we'll raise more questions than we can answer, as we start the conversation.
