Abstract
Software documentation is an important part of any software delivery process. Good documentation methods are important to the product's success. Software documentation aids in the understanding of the product, its interface, capabilities, and capacity to complete a task, as well as the ability to rapidly search for and locate a certain portion within the document, or to resolve issues encountered while using the product.
During the product development life cycle and software development life cycle, a variety of documents are requested and delivered, including software documentation, developer documentation, software requirement documents, design documentation, and audience analysis. Technical writers and software development teams must work together and communicate effectively. Clear, explicit, brief, and relevant documentation is required to create high-quality software.
