Crowd translation on GitHub - the Workflow of Open Source Crowdsourcing Translation with Github and OmegaT

Yaxing Li

Abstract

Crowd translation allows people from all around the world to freely participate in translation projects. You can use GitHub (a provider of hosting for software development and version control using Git, used by countless software tech companies) to set up and manage crowd translation projects.

Yaxing Li would like to share how to set up a crowd translation project on GitHub, manage the project, and what advantages.
As a Ph.D. student of Technical Communication at the University of Twente, Yaxing Li has a strong background in translation and localization.

Plenty of room for discussion and Q&A during and afterward.

Please join us on May 11; we'll start the session at noon.

We are looking forward to seeing you then.
