Abstract
In Blogging – Part I, we discussed why you should have a blog, the differences between blogs and websites, main blogging platforms, the importance of knowing your readers, setting goals, and some basic blogging rules. Towards the end of the webinar, we discussed ways to promote your blog to increase your readership.
In Blogging – Part II, we’ll focus on actual writing tips and also some great plug-ins that help you not only write better, but how Google and other search engines are going to react to your blog posts. We’ll also dig deeper into ways you can promote your blog. A short list of topics to be covered includes:
- SEO – how important is it, and how it you can “conquer” it (plug in time!)
- Blogs Etiquette – what to write, what not to write, how to write it, post frequency, etc.
- Writing: blog posts lengths, composition, phrasing and a bit about writing styles
- Promotion tips: Examples of finding natural alliances
- A look at what works
