AbstractISO/IEC has published a set of standards (ISO/IEC 26511-26515) for software documentation. Each standard addresses specific target groups with their roles and tasks in the information development process.
These standards are important tools not only for technical writers. They can also help software developers and other stakeholders concerned with software processes to know the requirements for their information products and the processes of developing such products.
This webinar introduces the series and gives an overview of the individual standards and their relationships.
