The 3rd edition of our yearly Technical Writing conference in Cluj-Napoca is centered around the concept of Topic-based Authoring, an efficient technique that is a must-know for Technical Writers and other Technical Communication professionals.
On Friday, December 11, 2015, join us at The Office in Cluj-Napoca for the third edition of our yearly local conference on Technical Writing.

Among other things we have planned this year
Karsten Schrempp will hold a workshop on authoring modular content. Practical exercises will help you develop a better understanding of this method of producing content.
Here are some of the topics that will be addressed in the workshop:
- Identifying customer expectations
- Establishing the goals for your documentation
- Planning documentation
- Modularization, topic types and metadata
- Short intro into how XML supports topic-based authoring
- Overview of tools: XML editors, CCMS (Component Content Management Systems)
Please note that, due to the interactive nature of this activity, only 40 seats will be available for the workshop, but you can still take part in other activities earlier in the day. Workshop participants will be attributed a seat based on the order of registration.
