|Speaker bio||Georg Löckinger holds a Master’s degree and a PhD in translation studies. His award-winning doctoral thesis focuses on translation-oriented reference tools and includes an empirical study on translators’ information needs. He is a professor of technical communication at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.|
What the Tag? From Confluence to DITA CMS in Less Than 80 Days

|Abstract||We will present the transition from creating and publishing documentation using Atlassian Confluence to working with DITA CMS as our main documentation tool. We will prove that even though moving to a new tool can be a challenge, everything is possible if you have a team of dedicated writers and a plan.|
Apart from taking you on our transition journey, we will pinpoint the potential issues content creators can come across when adopting a new tool and at the same time provide solutions and best practices we used to make our transition successful.
