In this webinar, you will get a state-of-the-art overview of what text corpora are and how you can use them in your daily work.

His award-winning doctoral thesis focuses on translation-oriented reference tools and includes an empirical study on translators’ information needs. He is a professor of technical communication at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.

AbstractWe will present the transition from creating and publishing documentation using Atlassian Confluence to working with DITA CMS as our main documentation tool. We will prove that even though moving to a new tool can be a challenge, everything is possible if you have a team of dedicated writers and a plan.
Apart from taking you on our transition journey, we will pinpoint the potential issues content creators can come across when adopting a new tool and at the same time provide solutions and best practices we used to make our transition successful.
