Documentation is an important part of Software Engineering, as it is a very important part of Software Development process and without it, it is hard to maintain any software project/product. The documentation is part of the quality assurance process in software development and should be considered in any step of software development process.
Without a clear and concise documentation developers and users will have many problems in understanding the existing and new requirements.
Good software documentation should be specific, concise, and relevant, providing all the information important to the person using the software. The instructions on how to write software documentation for technical users and end users are mandatory in any organization.
The importance of developing software documentation, the processes for developing documentation and the way in which this should be maintained to be efficient are to be highlighted.
Software Documentation can be classified into several parts like Requirement Documentation, Architecture/Design Documentation, Technical, End User, Marketing Documentation.
This presentation will be delivered in Romanian.
