tekom Danmark event about Professional Writing

In coorporation with Aarhus University, tekom Danmark held a two hour event May 6, 2014. Both Aarhus University and tekom Danmark belive this is the start of a long term relationship with a good potential for synergy between the university, the students and the business world.  The event was hosted by Aarhus University in Nobelparken.

Jan Engberg, Professor at Aarhus University and Per Harbo Sørensen, Spokesperson at tekom Danmark welcomed the about 50 participants. Then the speaker Prof. Dr. Markus Nickl was introduced by Jan. 

Markus Nickl is owner of doctima GmbH and Honorary Professor at Aarhus University. He has many years of experience in working with technical documentation and text optimisation. During the presentation Markus talked about how to modularize texts and presented different techniques for standardizing text. A small exercise for the participants ended the exciting and informative presentation.

After the coffee break Per introduced tekom Danmark and the tekom Europe organisation for the participants. The initiative committee behind tekom Danmark is currently looking for one or two persons who would like to participate in the voluntary work. If you need more information about the voluntary work please contact Dorte Breitenstein Kristensen or Per Harbo Sørensen.
